Our 8 month course of intensive tuition has been specially designed to introduce its participants to a wide range of materials and techniques employed in the building and application of special make-up effects.

Today we witness an exciting growth in the use of such materials and methods that enable artists to create first-rate 3-dimentional make-up, dummies, individual limbs, animals, creatures or indeed any given product of our imagination!
Acknowledging their benefit and additional attraction, the film and TV industries are becoming increasingly more keen to feature such realistic effects within their productions.

Our expert team seeks to pass on as much knowledge and experience to our students as possible with the aim that at the end of their tuition students are capable of assessing their own ability accurately enough so as to place themselves appropriately in the field. Today, success is to be recognised particularly by those who have sort specialization.

Our teaching curriculum is constructed on the basis of practical execution ie. each type of material or technique dealt with in our schedule is individually explained and demonstrated before being put into practice by our students.
All subjects included in our schedule receive fully supervised “hands on” experience as we believe this to be the most effective method of conveying the wide ranging techniques with which we are concerned.

Obviously, learning to apply this vast amount of information and “know how” successfully requires a deep interest in the subject, great patience and a will to experiment for ones self.

Alongside the students’ own gained experience, additional inspiration and further instruction is to be passed on from various guest tutors who have been invited to lecture during the course.
